USS BRUMBY was the fourth GARCIA - class frigate. Commissioned as a destroyer escort, the ship was redesignated as a frigate on June 30, 1975. Decommissioned on March 31, 1989, the BRUMBY was leased to Pakistan the same day. The Pakistani Navy recommissioned the ship as HARBAH. On September 9, 1994, the ship was transfered back to the US Navy and was sold for scrap the same day.
