USS Sierra (AD 18)

USS SIERRA was the fourth DIXIE - class destroyer tender and the second ship in the Navy named after the mountain range in eastern California. Both decommissioned and stricken from the Navy list on October 15, 1993, the SIERRA was sold for scrapping on August 25, 1995.
