USS BLAKELY was the 21st KNOX - class frigate. Originally designated as destroyer escort (DE), the BLAKELY was redesignated as frigate (FF) in July 1975. Decommissioned on November 15, 1991, and stricken from the Navy list on January 11, 1995, the BLAKELY was scrapped in 2000.
