YRDM 9 is one of the Navy's non-self propelled floating dry dock workshops (machinery). The barge was built in 1943 as a floating dry dock workshop (hull) YRDH 3. Later redesignated floating workshop YR 57 and radiological repair barge YRR 11, the barge was reclassified as floating dry dock workshop (machinery) YRDM 9 on November 24, 2014. YRDM 9 is assigned to the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, Wash.
