USNS SPEARHEAD is the lead ship of the SPEARHEAD - class of Expeditionary Fast Transports and the first ship in the Navy to bear the name. Since October 1, 2020, SPEARHEAD is kept in a reduced operating status at the former Philadelphia Naval Shipyard.
