McCloud, James/ Jim	SN	1966 – 1970	S3	Worked deck division. Came down with menningitus on return trip from west pac in 67. On return from hospital went to S3 division worked the laundry. Lot of good memories of the Jolly J. The ship doctor saved my life. Thank you.
Wooten, Charles	BM3	1966 – 1969	Deck	I served in the 2nd Division Deck Force for most of my tour where I rigged the cranes and ran all the boats as a coxswain. Near my tours end I transferred to the 1st Division Boatswain's Locker to ready for separation.

Gihring, Eugene	EM 3	Mar 7, 1966 – Dec 30, 1966	Electrical	Came on board at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard during drydock overhal. Stood generator watches underway, and worked as ship repair electrician and rewind shop. Retired as EMCS(SS) on Mar 31, 1988.

Cross, George/butch	BT3	Apr 11, 1966 – Apr 7, 1970	Repair - Boiler Shop	I had a great 4 years on the Jason. I have many memories and will never forget. Made many great friends. I was in the engine rooms for 2 years and the boiler repair shop for the last 2 years. We made a Cruise each year.

Conchas, Ed	PN3	May 20, 1966 – Feb 15, 1969	OPS	First duty station. Started as a Seaman deuce and went from messcooking to the Personnel Office as an OJT PN striker. Worked for PNCS Swicord, PNCM Parker, PN1 Shaumeyer, Edwards, Gonzales, Soliday. Retired PNCM 1991.

Emmons, James (Jim)	ABLE BODIED SEAMAN	Jul 15, 1966 – May 15, 1967	DECK CREW 1	I really liked the J and the ports of call, too bad somebody said I was a shortimer, as a reservist. The "R" word. I liked the Navy so much I would have become a lifer! Now my son is going for it and has taken the chiefs test in under 7 years!

Cofchin, John	MM3	Aug 1966 – Dec 8, 1968	M	The USN kept it's promise. Two WESTPAC cruises and lots of exotic places like Olongapo in the PI, Hong Kong, Vung tao gave this country boy a real look at the world. Operated the Evaporators, made lots of fresh water
Karr, William	BT2	Aug 1966 – Apr 1970	B	So many memories. Our time on the Jason was pretty much our College years. Wished that She would have been sunk somewhere instead of being reduced to scrap metal.
Thompson, Larry	LI2	Aug 1966 – Apr 1970	R3	First couple of months was on deck force. Got lucky and was able to get assigned to the print shop. Made 3 WESTPACs and ran around with some good people. Lots of fantastic memories and experiences.

Miles, Kent	MM2	Aug 1, 1966 – Jan 31, 1968	R 2	I was in Outside repair and Main machine shop. Worked for WO-4 Pace, a great guy. We later worked together at San Diego Gas and Electric, and I still see him. Jason was good ship with a good crew.
Edmiston, Paul	LTJG	Aug 8, 1966 – Aug 8, 1968	Operations	Came onboard as the Diving Officer and also had collateral duties as Legal Officer and Navigator. Have fond memories of the two WestPac cruises and ports in Sasebo, Yokohama, Subic Bay, Kaohsiung and Vung Tau.

Mark, De Felippo	MSC?	1967 – 1969	not sure	I am Marks (only 26 yr old) daughter. I have found his Vietnam photo album and was looking for people who may have known him. I had full custody of him when he passed away in April of 2014, I'd like to know him more.
