One photo my father walking two Japanese prisoners on the deck, next photo the typhoon damage. Photo xmas gift to his grandkids 2007.

Long, Raymon1941 –Raymon is my uncle and has told many times about the typhoon he was in while he was on the Windham Bay during WWII. He was a cook on board ship.
Fowler, Floyd1943 – 1945Floyd was my grandpa. I always loved hearing his war stories from the Windham Bay. I believe he was a corpman. He told many stories of the typhoon. Also of cooking a Thanksgiving turkey in a medical kiln. Also great stories about San Diego.
