USS HECTOR was the third ship in the VULCAN - class of Repair Ships. Decommissioned in 1987, the HECTOR was leased to Pakistan in 1989 and was renamed MOAWIN. Returned to US custody at Singapore in 1994, the ex-HECTOR was stricken from the Navy list on July 1, 1994. Subsequently sold for scrapping, the ship was broken up in India.
