USS Shrike (MHC 62)

USS SHRIKE was the 12th and final ship in the OSPREY - class of coastal mine hunters. Delivered to the Navy on January 11, 1999, and commissioned on May 31, 1999, the SHRIKE transfered to the Naval Reserve Force on January 11, 2000, and was subsequently used to train naval reservists. Decommissioned on December 1, 2007, the SHRIKE is presently laid-up at Beaumont, Tx., and is scheduled to be transfered to the Turkish Navy.
