USS Falcon (MHC 59)

USS FALCON was the 9th ship in the OSPREY - class of coastal mine hunters. The ship was delivered to the Navy on October 14, 1996, and on October 26, 1997, the FALCON transfered to the Naval Reserve Force and was subsequently used as training ship for naval reservists. The FALCON is currently laid-up at Beaumont, Tx., awaiting final disposal.
