USS GALLANT was one of the AGGRESSIVE - class ocean minesweepers and the second ship in the Navy to bear the name. Both decommissioned and stricken from the Navy list on April 29, 1994, the GALLANT was transfered to the Taiwanese Navy in August 1994. There, the ship was recommissioned as YUNG KU (M 1308).
