Mark, Sheppard-1944 –-Interestingly Eastern Aircraft FM-2 'Wildcat' was recently recovered (Dec 2012) from Lake Michigan. Though lost in training it had served with VC-85 during summer 1944 at Brown field. Trying to find more out on VC-85.
