USS Texas (CGN 39) 1:200 scale model

This 1:200 scale model of the USS TEXAS was constructed by Mr Klaus Herrmann from Germany and it took him about three years to finish it. The model shows the cruiser in its pre-NTU condition because there is still the helicopter platform. This platform was later used to accommodate two Mk-143 armored box launchers for Tomahawks. This caused the loss of TEXAS' helicopter capability.
